Raping and killing 33 young men does not exactly give you the right to remain a member of our society. One night in early 1978 at about 2 in the morning I was walking near Halsted and Belmont when this roly-poly man with a bad haircut pulled up to me in his Cadillac and asked me if I needed a ride. I tried to ignore him but finally yelled back "No Thanks". I kept walking and he drove away. Later that year when they found all the bodies buried in his basement Gacy was arrested .. He would knock out his victims with a rag loaded with chloroform. I am not totally positive the man that stopped me was him but I am sure glad I did not get in that car. ...
